In order to get anyone to believe in you right away, you must convince them with a purposeful and concise portfolio with legitimate information. I scheduled myself to visit the owner of the bar on Rue Quincompoix, but first I will make a proposal and then prepare an elevator pitch that I learned to do in my Entrepreneurship course.
In an elevator pitch, you must convince someone within one minute to believe in your proposal. I just wrote my elevator pitch, first by writing about myself in order to get a job offer. No matter how awesome whatever you're trying to sell is (in this case you), you can only convince someone to give you a chance by rocking an awesome elevator pitch. First of all, it shows that you've got guts and determination. That's already one big step. Then with the content and persuasiveness of your pitch, you can possibly draw in the person you're talking to (such as a director at a company).
